Joint kits are available for single-core and three-core cable configurations. Specify voltage grade, cable insulation type, conductor cross-section, and number of cores when requesting a quote.
Power infrastructure projects require cable joint kits, termination kits, and cable accessories to arrive on site at the same time as the cables — coordinating multiple suppliers for the same delivery schedule creates significant procurement risk.
LX Cable’s BOMFLEX service consolidates your complete project accessory and cable requirement:
For EPC contractors and utility procurement teams, BOMFLEX eliminates the coordination cost of sourcing cable accessories and cables from different suppliers.
Cable accessories sourced from qualified manufacturers with full IEC documentation — the same supply chain used for BOMFLEX project deliveries.
Supporting power infrastructure projects since the 1990s, with deep knowledge of accessory-to-cable compatibility across voltage grades and installation types.
Joint kits and termination kits supplied with full test reports, installation instructions, and compliance certificates ready for project handover.
Proven cross-border logistics for accessories and cables — consolidated shipments to over 130 countries worldwide.
Cold shrink joint kits use pre-expanded silicone rubber sleeves that contract around the cable when a core support is removed — no heat source is required, which makes them suitable for environments where open flame or heat guns are restricted, such as tunnels, oil platforms, or confined spaces. Heat shrink joint kits use thermoplastic sleeves applied with a heat gun; they are widely available and lower in cost but require controlled heating conditions during installation. Both types are available for MV XLPE cables from 3.6kV to 35kV.
Cable joint kits must be compatible with the cable’s insulation material (XLPE or EPR), conductor cross-section, voltage grade, and number of cores. They are not cable-manufacturer-specific, but the installation parameters — such as insulation diameter and screen/shield type — must match the kit specification. When ordering joint kits alongside cables from LX Cable, compatibility is verified and documented as part of the BOMFLEX supply process.
MV cable joint and termination kits are available for voltage grades from 3.6/6kV up to 26/35kV, covering the most common medium voltage distribution ranges including 6kV, 10kV, 15kV, 20kV, and 33kV systems. Specify the system voltage and cable construction when requesting a quote.
Yes. Through the BOMFLEX service, LX Cable can supply MV or LV power cables together with matched cable joint kits, termination kits, surge arresters, and other accessories in a single consolidated shipment. This eliminates the need to place separate orders and coordinate delivery timing across suppliers.
Each kit is supplied with a product datasheet, installation instructions, and IEC test report. Upon request, compliance certificates (CE, RoHS) and material safety data sheets can be provided for project handover documentation.
Provide the following parameters: cable voltage grade (kV), cable insulation type (XLPE / EPR / PVC), conductor cross-section (mm²), number of cores (1C or 3C), and joint application (straight-through, branch, or termination — indoor or outdoor). Upload your cable datasheet or project specification sheet via the inquiry form and our technical team will confirm kit compatibility and availability.
Specify your cable voltage grade, insulation type, conductor cross-section, and required kit type — LX Cable's team will confirm compatibility and respond with pricing and lead time.
