Full Project Fiber Supply Beyond Single Cable Types
Most telecom, utility, and infrastructure projects require fiber optic cables alongside medium voltage power cables, overhead conductors, and installation hardware — sourced from the same delivery window.
LX Cable’s BOMFLEX service covers the complete project bill of materials:
For project managers coordinating multi-category telecom and power orders, BOMFLEX eliminates the complexity of managing multiple suppliers across the same delivery.
- Optical fiber cables across all constructions — aerial, buried, submarine, and FTTH
- Medium voltage power cables for parallel power and telecom route integration
- Conducteurs aériens (ACSR / CAA / AAAC) when fiber is attached to power lines
- Cable accessories, joints, and hardware consolidated per project BOM
- Single factory-verified shipment for EPC and utility procurement teams

Foire aux questions
The right construction depends on the installation environment. GYXTW suits standard outdoor duct and direct-burial routes. ADSS is designed for aerial spans on power lines where no metallic element is permitted. FTTH butterfly cable is used for indoor last-mile drops. GYTA53 and GYTA33 cover heavy-duty direct-burial and underwater crossings respectively. Share your installation route and environment and our engineering team will confirm the appropriate type.
Single-mode (SM) fiber carries a single light ray over long distances — typically backbone telecom, utility, and inter-city routes. Multi-mode (MM) fiber supports shorter, higher-bandwidth links within buildings or campus networks. For most outdoor infrastructure projects, single-mode is the standard choice.
Fiber count depends on current channel requirements plus a spare capacity allowance for future expansion. Common project counts range from 12 to 96 cores for backbone routes. For access and FTTH drops, 2 to 12 cores are typical. Provide your link count, network topology, and expected growth horizon and we will recommend an appropriate core configuration.
Oui. Sheath color (standard black, orange, yellow, or custom RAL), sheath compound (PE for outdoor, LSZH for indoor or fire-sensitive environments), and drum length are all adjustable per order. OEM cable marking with your brand or project ID is also supported. Minimum order quantities apply; contact us for details.
LX Cable optical fiber cables are manufactured to IEC 60793 (optical fibers) et CEI 60794 (câbles à fibres optiques). The cable constructions correspond to internationally recognized structural categories — central tube, stranded loose tube, ADSS, and drop cable — used across global telecom and utility projects.
ADSS (All-Dielectric Self-Supporting) cable is designed for aerial installation on power line towers and poles without requiring metallic armoring, making it compatible with high-voltage environments. Span capability depends on cable diameter, fiber count, and sag allowance; standard configurations support spans from 100 m to 1,000 m. Specify your tower spacing, wind and ice load zone, and voltage corridor when requesting a quote.
