Fitting compatibility depends on the conductor’s outer diameter and cross-section, not solely the conductor type (शंट, एएएसी, or AAC). Conductors with the same nominal cross-section across the three types will have slightly different overall diameters. Always specify the conductor type and Code Name (or exact outer diameter) when ordering suspension clamps and strain clamps, as undersized or oversized clamp bores can compromise mechanical performance.
