NYM cable is designed for fixed installation in walls, conduits, and trays. It features a multi-core construction with an outer PVC sheath, making it suitable for both 300/500V and 450/750V applications in building wiring. The H07V series covers single-core cables only: H07V-K uses a flexible stranded conductor for ease of routing inside equipment, H07V-R uses a multi-strand rigid conductor for fixed wiring, and H07V-U uses a single solid conductor for direct fixed-installation runs. The choice depends on whether the installation requires flexibility or rigidity.
All five models comply with IEC 60227, the international standard for PVC-insulated cables rated up to 450/750V. NYM, H07V-K, H07V-R, and H07V-U additionally carry DIN VDE 0281 certification, which is the German national standard widely recognized across European markets. H05VV-F is certified to HD 21, the harmonized European standard for flexible PVC cables.
Standard stock covers conductor cross-sections from 0.75 mm² to 35 mm², with the available range varying by model. Custom drum lengths, cut lengths, and non-standard cross-sections are supported — minimum order quantities apply.
